Y Cwm represents a typical Welsh family home at the end of the 19th Century.
The museum houses a collection of everyday items that would have been familiar to Sir Henry Jones when he was growing up. Some of the objects on display belonged to Sir Henry himself, such as the robes he wore for his knighthood ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
The museum was bought by public subscription in 1932 to honour Sir Henry Jones and inspire others to follow his example of hard work and achievement.
The artefacts on show give a fascinating insight into Victorian family life in a Welsh village.
